The traditional medical view has been that aging is a process with inevitable complications such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer, and dementia, as well as the steady decline of physical and cognitive abilities. The newer approach seeks to prevent these disorders and possibly slow the process of aging, not just treat its complications.

"Gene" Turner MD is a board-certified physician, advanced fellowship-trained in Regenerative and Functional Medicine and a diplomate of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, with over 25 years of clinical experience.
